Waikato Emergency Management Committee

The Waikato Emergency Management Committee, formerly the Waikato Civil Defence Emergency Management Group Joint Committee, includes one elected representative from each council. The committee provides political oversight and governance to ensure the functions and obligations of the Waikato Civil Defence Emergency Management Group are fulfilled.
